On October 5th, we began redirecting traffic from Pfam (pfam.xfam.org) to InterPro (www.ebi.ac.uk/interpro). The Pfam website will remain available at pfam-legacy.xfam.org until January 2023, when it will be decommissioned. You can read more about the sunset period in our blog post.

This clan contains HybD-like domains. HybD is a nickel binding endopeptidase. Structural and sequences analyses have highlighted the presence of two highly conserved motifs that are shared with germination proteases and HybD [1]. Members of this clan adopt an alpha/beta fold, comprised of a central beta sheet, surrounded by alpha helices.

This clan contains 3 families and the total number of domains in the clan is 5191. The clan was built by RD Finn.
